When they look for belonging, they often find it in the wrong places, and the results are devastating. Parents, teachers, and law officers know the heartbreak of watching a child’s potential slip away because the community didn’t have the support systems in place to believe in them long enough. No child should have to choose between survival and their future.

Kevin's Story
At 11, Kevin just wanted to belong. He wanted friends, to be seen as strong, and to find a place where he mattered. After three years of consistent investment, hard conversations, and a community that believed and affirmed his potential, Kevin faced a moment that could have changed his life forever. A fight broke out at school, and instead of throwing punches, Kevin walked away. When asked why, he simply said: ‘I want my future.’
