Youth sports have gotten expensive, exclusive, and hard to reach for a lot of families in this parish. Travel teams, tryouts, equipment, and a schedule that assumes someone can drive across town twice a week. NFL FLAG is built differently: non-contact, age-appropriate divisions, no tryout, no prior experience, and fields your family can actually get to.
A national program, run by your neighbors.
NFL FLAG is delivered in partnership with National PAL and RCX Sports. It comes with the full national structure behind it, official NFL FLAG rules and equipment, trained coaches and officials, insurance coverage, background checks on every adult on the field, and a pathway to regional and national championship tournaments.

How to get your player on a roster.
Step 01 - Register
Takes about 5 min. You will need your player's name, DOB, jersey size, guardian contact info, and proof of physical.
No physical? Get one free, courtesy of FMOL Health, at our skills clinic on Dec. 5
Step 02 - Pay or apply
Registration is $45 per player for the full season, with equipment included.
Fee assistance is also available year-round through RCX Sports Foundation

Step 03- Play
Games begin January 13 and run for seven weeks, ending in playoffs and a championship in early March.

Questions parents are asking.
Does my child need experience?
No. There is no tryout and no minimum skill level. Divisions are organized by age, and coaches are trained to build teams from wherever players are starting.
Is it safe?
NFL FLAG is non-contact. Every coach and official is background-checked and trained, insurance coverage is included through the national program, and games are played at BREC facilities.
Who can play?
Any young person ages 6 to 18 (cannot be a High School graduate) living in East Baton Rouge parish. Boys and girls, in age-appropriate divisions.
What does it cost?
$45 per player, which covers Jersey, shorts, and flag belt. The first 400 registrants parish-wide receive 50% off registration, courtesy of a dedicated private investment in the league. Where are games played?
On BREC-maintained fields and facilities across the parish.
We already play in another league. Is this replacing it?
No. PAL of South Louisiana is not building a competing league structure or replacing programs that already work. Where strong local leagues exist, this partnership is designed to support them. Where communities want to expand, the partners help bring resources.
Can I coach or volunteer?
